{daily life} Starting Over

I very much dislike how the window is not perfectly centred in the photo, and it’s going to annoy me forever, but what can you do -_-

Hey, hi, hello, and welcome to the first post in 2016, although 2016 is already half-over, oops. I know, I know, I’m a terrible blogger. I seriously feel super bad for having neglected this for almost half a year, but I don’t even have a good excuse. I can’t say that I was that busy over the past six months, I mean, there was a lot to do and stuff, but I … just didn’t do it. I guess my main problem was that I didn’t really know what to blog about or that I didn’t really know where I was going with this blog.

So yeah, I think I want to try to start over with this little space and write with a little more purpose. Not just for the sake of writing and posting something, but because I’m genuinely interested in and enjoying what I’m writing. You get the idea.

Now, where to even start? Maybe with a little update? The day before yesterday I wrote the last exam of my second year of university (given that I don’t fail any of my classes and have to do the resit exam, heh). Now I only have one year left and then I’m done with my undergrad, how crazy is that?

What else? Today is the day I’m leaving Den Haag and going back to Düsseldorf for almost three months (my university’s summer break is crazy long, I know) to bother my parents for a while. And theeeeeeen I’m going to Kyoto for half a year for my exchange semester! Woooooo! I’m super excited already, and praying that everything will work out fine, and that my exchange won’t get cancelled last-minute or whatever *paranoia*.

I also transitioned to veganism! So I’m kind of excited and terrified at the same time to see what it’s going to be like to eat vegan in Kyoto … I’ve watched a bunch of youtubers who are vegan and live in Japan and somehow manage … but then I don’t know, because they all live in Tokyo, which probably has a lot more options than Kyoto. But well, we shall see. I will probably blog a lot on that topic, so stay tuned for that…I guess?

Anyway, I think that’s enough for this post. Talk to you again soon. ♥
